Want to lock a file so that no other user can make changes while you are working on it?

In this case, you can use the built-in Lock feature.

This feature allows you to edit the file only from the device that has locked the file. This means that no one else will be able to make changes to this file until you unlock it.

In fact, if another user tries to download the file, they will receive an error message stating that the file is locked. Any user with access can manually unlock the file.

A padlock icon appears on a file that has been locked (both on the web interface and locally on the computer).
